This was my first time flying with Westjet, but it won’t be my last. They are supposedly a “budget airline,” but seem nothing like the sort. On a four hour flight to Vegas, they came around 3 times to give us drinks, and twice with snacks! The snacks were only cookies or chips, but it was enough. No one ever liked the airplane food anyways, and you can always just bring your own.On the way home today, we got in a half an hour early, something that’s always a plus. Also, the flight attendants were amazing. One of them randomly came up to me and said “would you like another cranberry juice without ice?” Nice. They were also funny and really kind.
We did not get to watch a movie, instead we all had our own personal TV, with about 20 channels to choose from. They were all live channels fed by satellite. We could watch anything from What Not to Wear to Fox "News". I chose the more intelligent choice and went with What Not to Wear.
Ya, so everyone fly Westjet, it’s great. And while you’re at it, buy some of their stock (okay that was totally biased because I own it, but whatever!=).
